But the stories I love most? They’re the quiet ones. The ones that take their time. That’s what inspired the name Night Bloom Media.

My grandma had this night-blooming cactus in her backyard. It only bloomed once a year, but when it did, it was magic. She’d light up like a little kid every time. In a battle so many people experienced those years, we lost her and her husband to COVID. She was the kind of person you could call in the middle of the night. The one who made everything feel safe and a little more special. Losing her felt like losing the cornerstone of our family.

Years later, after walking through my own hard season, I moved into a new home. One evening I sat on the porch, feeling so grateful to have made it to a safe place. I looked up... and there it was. That same night-blooming cactus, growing in my front yard. It felt like one last hug from her, telling me it was all going to be okay.

That’s the heart behind my work. Helping brands show up for their communities, tell their story well, and trust in their own timing to bloom.

When I’m not behind a camera or building a content strategy, you can usually find me exploring local spots, playing cozy video games, or flying my drone, always looking for the next story waiting to be told.
